From truck driver to captain, from head chef to ship's chef, your host and hostess Winfred and Els will give you a warm welcome on board. From a draughty houseboat in the village of Deventer, a sailing house boat in Amsterdam to the motor passenger vessel The Feniks.

For 17 years we have spent our lives together on the water. Enjoying the space, the freedom, the many beautiful places and the moments that we experienced whilst living on board the ship. We would like to share these feelings with you because:

On the water, every day is different

Together with our ship's dog Layla and our parrot Iggy we hope to give you an unforgettable time on board The Feniks. Our pets are bringing a lot of joy, but Layla is not allowed to enter the saloon because of the hygiene. The noble Iggy loves to be around the guests in the saloon, but we respect your wishes if you don't appreciate Iggy.
